Your Most Powerful Moment
The most powerful message is the love of God for all of humanity. The Scripture says in John 3:16,
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." God's love for you gives your life meaning and great significance.
The most powerful event in the history of the world was the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It provided the divine answer to the most difficult human problem. The bad news of our sin is made clear in Romans 3:23, which says: "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." However, the good news of the gospel is the reality that Christ paid the penalty for our sins on the cross. First Corinthians 15:3-4 says, "…that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures."
The most powerful moment in your life is when you take your faith from a formal religion to a personal relationship. According to Ephesians 2:8, this is accomplished by grace through faith. Grace is the love of God in action for you. Faith is your total trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. You may want to pray the following prayer to connect with God and express your faith in Jesus Christ:
Dear God, I thank you for sending Your Son to die on the cross for my sins. I believe Jesus died and rose again for me. I invite Jesus Christ into my life as my personal Lord and Savior. In Jesus' Name, amen.
